Pinot Gris, not Pinot Grigio. Same grape, entirely different intention. Where Grigio is made lean and crisp for drinking fast, Gris is left to ripen and build texture and this is the fuller, silkier end of the family. Grown on a single cool-climate block in Canyonleigh, it is the textural white a winter table has been waiting for.
The fruit was left to hang into the cool Southern Highlands autumn, building the ripeness and weight that give this style its texture while the altitude held on to the natural acidity underneath.
Grown on a single block at PepperGreen Estate, this wine reflects the unique terroir of Canyonleigh altitude, cool nights and the conditions that give our whites their distinctive drive and character.
Crafted with minimal intervention to let the variety speak for itself.
