Food & Beverage Supervisor

Full Time Position
Days/Hours: Wednesday to Monday 9:30am to 5pm (some nights required for special events)

Location: Berrima

This is an exciting time to join our growing team. We are looking for a forward thinking Supervisor who will lead our small team to deliver the exceptional customer service in our Tasting Room in Berrima. We require at minimum an RSA certification, someone looking to create an exciting career from the role and a passion for premium wine and dining experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing visitors with a memorable experience. You’ll use your wine knowledge and exceptional customer service skills to guide customers through a journey learning about our exceptional wines and food.
  • You will assist the General Manager with Cellar Door and Tasting Room operations including opening and closing procedures, sales management, bookings, stock management and ensuring a high standard of presentation is adhered to.
  • Collaborating with the Head Chef and Cellar Door Manager to achieve our goals and deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Sound computer skills where you are comfortable with digital tools and platforms that operate the departments.
  • Co-ordinating and hosting onsite events, adding that extra touch of excitement and charm to our Cellar Door.
  • Handling customer feedback with poise and professionalism, resolving any concerns promptly.
  • Enforcing strict adherence to regulations and quality standards, setting the benchmark for excellence.

Front of House Staff

  • Working closely with the management, Tasting Room, and Cellar Door teams, you will be trained on our extensive food and wine menus and expected to understand and use your knowledge.
  • Taking orders, serving food and drinks and taking payments.
  • Providing visitors with a memorable experience. You’ll use your exceptional customer service skills to guide customers through a journey learning about our wines and food.
  • Handling customer feedback with poise and professionalism, resolving any concerns promptly.
