Food & Beverage Manager

Full Time Position
Days/Hours: Wednesday to Monday 9am to 5pm (some nights required for special events)
Location: Berrima

This is an exciting time to join our growing team. PepperGreen Estate are currently renovating our Berrima Tasting Room & Cellar Door to open an upgraded premium tasting experience space in September.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, highly motivated and will enjoy working within a small team. We require an RSA certification and a passion for premium wine and dining experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing visitors with a memorable experience. You’ll use your wine knowledge and exceptional customer service skills to guide customers through a journey learning about our exceptional wines and food.
  • You will assist the Venue Manager with Cellar Door and Tasting Room operations including opening and closing procedures, sales management, bookings, stock management and ensuring a high standard of presentation is adhered to.
  • Collaborating with the Chef to achieve our goals and deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Co-ordinating and hosting onsite events, adding that extra touch of excitement and charm to our Cellar Door.
  • Driving wine sales, meeting monthly and quarterly sales targets while increasing database sign-ups, enticing our guests to explore our diverse selection of wines.
  • Handling customer feedback with poise and professionalism, resolving any concerns promptly.
  • Enforcing strict adherence to regulations and quality standards, setting the benchmark for excellence.

  • You have completed competency training in the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).

  • Taking orders, serving food and drinks and taking payments.
  • Providing visitors with a memorable experience. You’ll use your exceptional customer service skills to guide customers through a journey learning about our wines and food.
  • Handling customer feedback with poise and professionalism, resolving any concerns promptly.
